This guide will help you to get logged into the VUSD Employee Self Service (ESS) portal where you can view copies of your pay warrants as well as other personal employee information.
This is a secure web-based employee self-service portal that is accessible only to Visalia Unified School District employees who are currently receiving pay from the District. This site does not contain information for non VUSD employees.
The portal is located at the following web address - https://bisportal.vusd.org/ess/
From the landing page click the "Log in here" link or click "Log In" at the far right of the blue bar.
On the login page, type your username, which will be the same as your VUSD email address without the @vusd.org or @vusd.us suffix. (ex. [email protected] would type jsmith01 in the Username box)
The password will be the same as your @vusd.org email address
Once you fill in both boxes click the "Log in" button
If you have followed the steps above and are still unable to sign in, please confirm that you can access your vusd.org email account with your password. You can try accessing your email from the web by following this link https://outlook.office365.com > type in your full VUSD email address (ex. [email protected]) > type your password > click Next. Don't use a saved password for this test. If you are able to sign into your email by typing in the password then the ESS issue may be with your ESS account itself.
If you're unsure or are unable to recall you vusd.org password, please call the Helpdesk at 730-7627 and someone can help with getting it reset.
If you know your vusd.org password and are able to confirm it with the steps above then the problem may be with your ESS account itself. If that is the case please submit a service request to the BIS department to have it checked. Please include any steps that you have already taken in the ticket description.
