VUSD Board Room AV System
Regarding the audio-video system in district office board room.
Quick Start
- Power-up the system with the red switch (AMPLIFIER)
- Tap the control tablet touchscreen if dark
- Turn on the projectors using the projector buttons on the touchscreen HOME menu
- Set your device input on the VIDEO menu. Desk is the notebook or guest HDMI cable on the control station desk, Wall Input is the connection on the east wall near the projector screen.
- Control audio levels through the sliders on the HOME menu
- At the end of the meeting, turn off the projectors from the HOME menu
- Power-down the system with the red switch (AMPLIFIER)
Basic Use
Power-up system with the red power switch. This must be on for the system to function properly. Please power-down when you are finished with your meeting.

Use the Control Tablet touchscreen to control the system. Tap it once to wake if the screen is dark.
Turn on/off the projectors with the projector buttons. Projector 1 is the one in the southeast corner, Projector 2 is the one on the east wall. Please turn off the projectors when you are finished using them.

Control the overall volume level of the system with the level controls. Slide up for louder, or slide down to lower the volume. Main Sound Level covers the audience area of the room, Board Member Speakers covers the area around the dias, Hallway Level covers the hallways adjacent to the board room and in the bathrooms.

Tap the Video menu tab to set the video inputs to the system.

Select your input source:
- AppleTV selects the AppleTV device.
- Chromecast selects the Chromecast device.
- Desk is the input from the notebook or guest HDMI cable on the control station desk.
- Computer is for the meeting broadcast computer in the control station (not for general use).
- Wall Input is the HDMI input on the east wall to the lower right of the screen.

Advanced Use
You can record the audio (only) portion of a meeting by tapping the Record button on the Home screen of the control tablet. Tap Stop to stop the recording. Contact Tech Services to retrieve the recording from the server. The Microphone Reset button resets all microphones to preset levels.

Use the Advanced page to set individual microphone levels.

Microphones 1-13 are the wired mics around the dias and podium. Control the level of the wireless mics on the W/L and ST In page

The Camera Control page (only for meeting broadcast use) controls the camera outputs and positioning.

The Preview area allows you to control the pan-tilt-zoom of each camera.

The Program area selects which camera is output to the broadcast computer.

The Presets move (pan-tilt-zoom) the camera selected in the Preview area to preset positions.
