Fix Bietrun Wireless Microphone Not Working

If your Bietrun Wireless Microphone is not playing any sound you need to make sure you're using the correct adapter to plug it into your computer. You also need to make sure that the transmitter and receiver are synchronized and that you aren't getting interference on the frequency your transmitter it set to. Follow this guide for help with any of these issues.  There are specific instructions for Dell Latitude 3410 laptops at the bottom. Also included here is a copy of the user manual.

Choosing the correct adapter

  • If you're using an older desktop computer, in most cases the blue 1/4" to 3.5mm adapter that came with the wireless mic will be the one to use. Newer desktops may have a dedicated headset jack in which case use the black phone adapter.
  • If you're using the blue line-in jack on the back of the desktop then use the blue adapter
  • If you're using a laptop computer try the 1/4" to 3.5mm black phone adapter.
  • Plug the appropriate adapter into the microphone jack or line in port on your system. If you're still unable to hear yourself continue with steps in the next section.

To Resync Wireless Transmitter and Receiver

If you're using the correct adapter and still have trouble you may need to resync the transmitter and receiver. The translated instruction sheet that came with the microphone has this information, but the wording can be a little confusing. Follow these steps

  • Make sure both units are charged and turned off
  • Turn on the transmitter
  • Simultaneously press the Power, Volume up and Volume Down buttons on the transmitter until the  display starts blinking.

  • Turn on the receiver
  • The RF/AF light on the receiver will blink repeatedly and then go dark.
  • Turn off the transmitter and then turn it back on
  • You should now be synced and the RF/AF light on the receiver will be lighted blue while the transmitter is powered on. It will also flash green when you speak into the microphone.

Make sure Zoom is using the correct microphone

In your zoom settings, go to the audio section and make sure you have chosen the input that the wireless mic is connected to. It may be that you still have your webcam mic selected. Below is an example of what a typical desktop computer would be set to. Your system may be different. You can try all the options listed in the dropdown menu to see if one of them works.
