Investigating Student Web Filter or GoGuardian Bypass
Here is a list of details and information to collect to help Tech Services in identifying and mitigating the cause of any web filter or GoGuardian bypasses by students. Please answer the questions to the best of your ability and include this in your ticket request.
- Student Information (Name, ID, email address)
- Date and Time of observed offense (examples - 3/13/2024 at 9:32am OR 3/13/2024 between 9:15am and 9:45am)
- What was observed? (Be descriptive. If a game or website. What was it called)
- Web address (Provide the offending website address)
- Steps student took to get to offending site? (Very Useful)
- If available include any pictures or screenshots of the students screen or what you're seeing in GoGuardian. The active tabs list of the student from GoGuardian can also be helpful.
