Getting started with Lightspeed Classroom
Lightspeed Classroom gets schedules/rosters from PowerSchool.
**Note that the process to transfer students from PowerSchool to Lightspeed Classroom takes at least one night, but can sometimes take several nights depending on the volume of changes that happened the previous day. At the beginning of the year or at the end of each marking period or semester, this process usually takes a few days. **
1. To use the service, navigate to the website https://classroom.relay.school,
click “Sign in with Google”, and login with your Google (vusd.us) account.

2. After logging in, your classes will be listed in a drop-down menu on the upper left side. Select which class you want to monitor and then choose the orange “Configure Schedule” button.

3. Under Type, drop down and change from "Custom" to “Ad Hoc”.

4. This will bring up another drop-down menu for you to select the session duration. Choose how long you would like to have the session run and hit "Start".

You are ready to go! It may take a few minutes for all students to show up.
