This guide will assist you with getting the clearest image from your document camera with the IPEVO Visualizer software. The Visualizer software works with IPEVO Ziggi and other IPEVO brand USB connected document cameras. The images in this guide were obtained from IPEVO Visualizer software version 3.0.737.0

 

Auto Focus

The first thing to check is to see if the camera is focused properly. In the case of the Ziggi there is an Autofocus switch on the camera which can be set to "C" for continuous or "S" for single. Setting it to "S" requires you to press the Focus Button when you need to refocus on an object.

Still Blurry?

If your image is still blurry even after you've checked the focus settings on the camera it may be due to the Visualizer software camera resolution setting being set too low.

Change Camera Settings

To change the resolution setting of the camera Click Menu > Resolution > Choose a higher resolution. In this case we will choose 1600x1200 which the highest available.

Keep Changes Every Time

In order to keep from having to change the resolution setting each time you open Visualizer you will want to tell the software to "Keep Camera Changes" Do so by opening "Settings". In the settings window that opens Check the box next to "Keep Camera Changes" then click "Close".
